We meet every week
Nai strives to provide holistic programming to not only keep children occupied with educational activities but also ensure they are stimulated and inspired. In addition to weekly rehearsals, children are encouraged to join CultureLink's Artegration programs to learn more about other art forms.
Throughout the school year, Nai choristers gather in CultureLink's office on Wednesdays to learn to sing beautifully together. During the regular rehearsals from 5:30 to 7 p.m. our professional musicians work with the children to improve their musical knowledge and skills. Although the rehearsal starts at 5:30 p.m., parents are welcome to drop off their children as early as 4:30 p.m to benefit from CultureLink's Artegration programs that engage children in fun and artistic activities. They may also utilise this additional hour to help children with their homework and school projects. Healthy snacks are provided so that kids don't work on empty stomachs.
"Artegretion" is CultureLink's arts-based newcomer youth and children's integration program. Organized by CultureLink's Children and Youth Services, the program lets newcomer children explore a variety of art education opportunities encouraging an appreciation of diverse art forms and hands-on arts projects. The program nurtures a sense of community, builds leadership skills, and enhances children's arts education in a culturally appropriate way. The Artegration team also runs a Homework Club to help children manage their school work so that they can be worry-free once they reach home after rehearsals.
